The idea

A bottle doesn't sell itself

In a market crowded with syrup and sauce brands, a bottle can easily become one line in a price list. So we didn't show the bottle alone. We showed what it becomes in the glass and on the plate: the pour, the layers, and the final touch. The drink became the hero of the frame, and the product was served the way a fine dish is served.

Our role01 / 05

The visual direction, the reels, and the designs

We worked with FO in Syria month after month: shaping how the brand looks, and producing the content its team carries to restaurants and cafés.

01

Visual direction

One language for all the content: the bar at night and its warm light, a colour for every flavour, and the product always at the centre of the frame.

SCOPE

The logo and packaging belong to the parent brand, FO food products. Our work is the content that presents these products in Syria: the idea, the production, the editing and the designs.

The reels02 / 05

The recipe is the ad

Every reel starts with an ingredient and ends with a finished glass or plate. Professional hands in black gloves at a bar at night, and a slow pour that shows the texture of the sauce and the layers of the drink. The restaurant owner sees the full recipe, and their customer sees the result. The clips here play without sound.

Tarts with FO saucesTart shells fill up in front of the camera, one sauce after another.
Brownie with cream and chocolateA layer of whipped cream, then chocolate sauce poured slowly on top.
Filled donutsThe donut opens in front of the camera to show the filling, each cream named on screen.
Fruit tartRed sauce, then fruit with a golden spoon, then a thread of chocolate.
The images03 / 05

Every flavour has its colour, every product its stage

The background takes the colour of the flavour: red for strawberry, orange for caramel, green for pistachio, brown for chocolate, violet for blueberry. So the viewer knows the flavour at first glance, before reading its name.

The seasons04 / 05

An occasion is a chance, and the product is its hero

We didn't let the seasons pass without a story. Halloween became a four-slide story that ends with an FO bottle rising from the heart of a pumpkin, a cake became a red heart on a plate, and a bicycle got donuts for wheels.

From the phone screen to the restaurant kitchen

FO now had professional, high-quality visual content, and that content went into the hands of its team. They send the reels and the preparation method to restaurants and cafés, so the owner sees the drink finished, exactly as they would serve it to their customers. That is what built strong trust in the brand, and opened the doors of upscale restaurants and cafés in a crowded market, within a few months.

Quick questions4 Q&A

FO in four questions

What is FO?

FO food products is a brand of drink and dessert supplies: flavoured syrups, dessert and ice cream sauces, fruit purees and drink mixes. Its exclusive agent in Syria is Al Sheikh Trading Group (SHG), and it serves restaurants, cafés and dessert shops.

What did Mesh-Mosh do for FO?

Mesh-Mosh (مشمش), a creative agency in Damascus, built the visual direction for FO's content in Syria, and produced the drink and dessert preparation reels, the product designs, the carousels and the seasonal campaigns.

How did the content help FO enter the restaurant and café market?

FO's team started sending the reels and the preparation method to restaurants and cafés, so the owner sees the drink finished, exactly as they would serve it. That built strong trust in the brand, and opened the doors of upscale restaurants and cafés in a crowded market within a few months.

Does Mesh-Mosh produce content for food and beverage brands?

Yes. From Damascus, we produce reels, images and campaigns for food and beverage brands, and build one visual direction that ties each brand's content together. Contact: the Let's talk page or WhatsApp +963 989 909 640.

We started with a bottle on a shelf, and ended with a drink you see before you taste it.

Have a product that needs to be seen before it is tried? We'll build the image that opens doors for it.
