The idea

A logo that starts from the city's blocks

An exhibition about rebuilding needs a mark that starts from the place itself. We built the logo from slanted blocks that look like building columns, then laid it over an aerial photo of destroyed neighbourhoods, so the blocks of the logo became city blocks being built again. From the exhibition's three sectors we wrote its line: build for construction, illuminate for energy, make for industry.

The full identity, the films, and the campaign

We took on the exhibition months before it opened and stayed with it until opening day: from drawing the logo, to the films that introduced it, to the campaign that brought it to people.

The logo in Arabic and English, the colours and typefaces, and every application: from business cards and letterheads to billboards and the presentation.

SCOPE

Our client on this project was Effect Plus. Most aerial shots in the films are our own drone footage. The rest of the footage is licensed from photographers and stock platforms.

The campaign03 / 05

A campaign that builds up to opening day

We didn't reveal everything at once. We started with a blurred logo and a short line, then revealed the identity and the date, then explained the exhibition post by post: the reality, the sectors, the goals. In the final days, the campaign went out to the street.

A presentation that travelled before the exhibition

We designed the English presentation for investors and companies outside Syria: the exhibition's message, its goals, the three sectors, and the digital organisation. It reached exporters' associations in the region, including the Mediterranean Exporters' Association in Turkey, which shared it with its members.
