Communications and media production for NGOs in Syria
Mesh-Mosh is a creative agency in Damascus for advertising and content production. We work with international and local organizations on three things: photography and videography in the field, with people’s stories told in their own words; awareness and behavior change content in the language Syrians speak; and distribution on the pages and channels Syrians follow, with a report in real numbers.
We film in Damascus, Rif Dimashq, Homs, Tartus and Daraa. Proposals and reports in Arabic or English.

What we provide to organizations
Correct information alone is not enough. It lands when it comes from a face people trust, with a story from their own place, in short content they watch to the end. That is what we build for every campaign.
What you get
- Photography and videography in the field, with consent from the people we film
- Content collection: community and beneficiary stories, told in their own voices
- Video production services: short videos, motion graphics, campaign films and billboards
- Social and behavior change (SBC) content with local faces your audience already trusts
- Distribution on Syrian pages and channels, plus Facebook and Instagram ads targeted by city and age
- Review rounds with your team before anything goes live, in Arabic and English
- Reporting at each stage: reach, views and engagement from the platforms’ own dashboards
Example · A national campaign
Syria, The Story Brings Us Together: a Mesh-Mosh initiative backed by the Ministry of Culture and the Syrian American Alliance. We built its identity, photographed real people where they live and work, and produced a film of 170 to 200 seconds and 10 billboards.
See the caseExample · Trusted educational content
Dr. Sara Al Nahhas’s parenting content reaches 18.3M+ views a month, from an audience that is 89% mothers. Its main measure of success is saves, not likes.
See the caseWho it’s for: An international organization working in Syria that needs a local media partner · A local NGO launching an awareness campaign or introducing a program · A team that needs community stories documented in photo and video · A funded project that needs communication materials and a report in numbers.

Questions people ask
Questions organizations ask
Do you work with international organizations and NGOs?
Yes. We offer international and local organizations field photography and videography, story collection, awareness content, distribution on Syrian channels and reporting. Our closest work to this field includes the national campaign Syria, The Story Brings Us Together, backed by the Ministry of Culture, and Dr. Sara’s parenting content.
Is Mesh-Mosh a registered company in Syria?
Yes. Mesh-Mosh is a registered company in Syria and a member of the Damascus Chamber of Commerce. We attach the commercial registration and licenses to our proposals.
Do you collect and document community stories?
Yes. We film people where they live and let them tell the story in their own voice, as in the portraits of Syria, The Story Brings Us Together. We film with consent, and agree with you in advance on what gets published and what stays in your archive.
Which governorates do you cover?
We film in Damascus, Rif Dimashq, Homs, Tartus and Daraa. We don’t offer filming outside these governorates for now, but online distribution is not limited to them.
How do we know the campaign reached people?
We agree before we start on what to measure: reach, views, engagement or messages. The report uses the numbers from the platforms’ own dashboards, plus a link and a screenshot for every post on Syrian pages.
Do you have a guide to running awareness campaigns in Syria?
Yes. Our practical guide to awareness campaigns in Syria covers how to understand the audience, choose trusted faces and measure change.
